On Thursday, Oct. 31, St. Matthew’s hosted its first All Hallow’s Eve celebration, and it was a huge success! The children who attended enjoyed making treat bags, fishing for treats, the cake walk, ghost bowling, corn hole, bobbing for apples, eating a donut without hands, pinning the mitre on the bishop (this seemed to be a big hit with the grown-ups!), wrapping each other like mummies and smacking the pinata.
They all had a wonderful time and everyone was worn out by the time it was over.
Thank you to the volunteers who made this event happen. We’re looking forward to next year!
